Supervision & Evidence Methodology
How Amrachi records supervision activity, protects the integrity of that record, and lets it be checked independently. Written for compliance officers and auditors; not a contractual commitment.

1. Scope and responsibility
Amrachi records supervision activity — which situations arose, who reviewed them, and what was decided. It does not make decisions. Every decision in the record is made by a person at your firm, and your firm remains responsible for governance, thresholds, escalation and its regulatory obligations.
Evidence retention is independent of notification delivery. A completed human review records its outcome whether the decision is to act or take no action.
Deleting or reconfiguring a monitoring rule does not erase past evidence. Relevant user actions affecting the supervision record are logged.
2. What the evidence record contains
For each supervision situation, the evidence record can include:
- the condition that was detected;
- the portfolio context it affected;
- the relevant values at the time;
- the assigned reviewer;
- the review timestamp;
- the decision taken;
- the rationale recorded for it;
- follow-up and escalation status.
3. Integrity
Each record is cryptographically linked to the one before it using SHA-256, so any later modification to historical records is detectable.
Anchor values that summarise each day's records are published periodically to an independently accessible external record, so the chain cannot be silently rewritten after the fact.
4. Independent verification
A third party — an auditor, regulator or client — can confirm that the published evidence chain is continuous and has not been altered since it was anchored, with no Amrachi account. Each organisation has a public verification page for this.
5. Limits
This evidences that supervision records were kept and not altered. It is not a certified third-party timestamping service; independent integrity verification does not establish regulatory compliance or the appropriateness of the underlying supervisory decision; and it does not replace your firm's own governance. Amrachi does not provide investment advice.
Retention of supervision evidence follows the organisation's configured policy, customer instructions, the applicable agreement and applicable law.
